WHY THIS PROGRAM
High potential individuals often rise through the ranks of organizations by demonstrating subject matter expertise and developing the ability to effectively manage the tactical processes that make up their jobs.

Some of these people have inherent leadership abilities and some do not, but they are all susceptible to the challenges of leading and managing at a higher level. This includes, but is not limited to leading managers who were once their peers, thinking at a more strategic and senior level, and being accountable for a broader amount of items than they have been in the past.
In addition to the need to develop or strengthen specific tangible leadership and management skills, new leaders sometimes struggle with not having access to an unbiased and objective sounding board or confidant to openly and honestly discuss real world challenges when they arise.

Unfortunately, 46% of new leadership transitions fail and more than 70% of new leaders report feeling unprepared in their new roles.
